no longer waiting to hear about NDSEG fellowship...

No longer waiting to hear back about the NDSEG fellowship...(note the title changed) There's a good chance that you are reading this because you googled something like "NDSEG blog," so don't think that you haven't heard back because you simply didn't win. As of April 15th, I don't know anyone who heard back from NDSEG. Good luck all! We will find out soon enough.

As of April 28th, everybody that I know who has applied already heard back.

Update: some people heard back (positive replies!) last Friday (the Friday following April 15th)

Update++: I didn't win the NDSEG fellowship; however, I'm still quite happy with winning the NSF fellowship.

I heard from them on Friday evening, but have heard of no one else who heard from them. This is all very strange...

I have a friend who was notified on Friday afternoon that they received the NDSEG fellowship. I myself have not heard back either way, so I've still got my fingers crossed, though I'm not too optimistic.

By the way, I found this blog by searching for NDSEG on a blog search, like you mentioned.

  5. Thanks for the link, ucflipcat. Reading that forum, it appears that the NDSEG winners heard last Friday. I'm going to wait a few more days, then accept the NSF Fellowship.

You can call them and they'll tell you whether you won or not. Check the bottom of their website for the number.

  10. As of April 29, both my office mate and I have yet to hear back from them. Apparently there's someone else that has not heard back as well, http://forum.thegradcafe.com/viewtopic.php?t=406&start=135 .
